Jadon Sancho was at Carrington on Saturday afternoon while his Manchester United teammates prepare to play Brighton.
Sancho, who was spotted wearing his personal clothes, watched some of the Under-18s' match against Nottingham Forest.
The player has been banished from the first-team squad after he disagreed with Erik ten Hag on social media and the manager said he inherited a 'no good culture' at the club when asked about the matter prior to the weekend.
Sancho is now training separately from the first-team and he will not be considered for selection until the issue is resolved.

A statement from the club earlier this week said: “Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.”
Ten Hag said on Friday: "I think everything is said [about Sancho]. As I said, the squad is strong, good spirit, good mood going into the game.
"They (the players) are very good because you have sometimes setbacks in seasons, players are injured, other reasons, they are not available, therefore you construct a squad. The squad is very good and the players are motivated to give a good performance.
"Strict line is the point. The club asked me because there was a no-good culture before last season to set some standards and that's what I did. It's my job to control the standards.
"Of course, it's never someone when they make one mistake, it's a whole process before you come to a certain outcome about strict lines. If staff, players or whatever, who, if there's a structure to cross lines, you have to be strong, absolutely."
