Jack Grealish says the injury which kept him out at Manchester City's recent matches was among the most painful he's ever suffered. The attacker picked up a dead leg against Sheffield United and said the City doctors had described it as the worst injury of its kind that he'd seen.
He endured a spell on crutches and it took several weeks of rehabilitation at the City Football Academy to firstly get over the initial injury, and then get back to full fitness.
Grealish returned to City's starting lineup against RB Leipzig and is now in contention to feature for England in their games against Australia and Italy at Wembley in the coming days.

Grealish explained how while the knock might have seemed innocuous at the time, it became one of his most difficult to recover from in his career.
“I got myself an assist against Sheffield United and then obviously I got the injury, which apart from a kidney injury six years ago, is the most painful I have had,” he said.
“You might all laugh at me now, but it was only a dead leg. But it was the worst dead leg I have had in my life. I genuinely could not walk.
“I was on crutches for a few days after the game and I swear I could not even explain this pain. I could not bend my leg. Usually when you have a groin or a hamstring injury, you can go and do a bike session. But I could not bend my leg to get on the bike.
“For three and a half weeks I could not do one cardiovascular session, so I felt quite unfit, not doing enough – just icing it and getting treatment. So the last couple of weeks I have still been trying to work my way back to
