"To say the organisations to stop, you have to change something. After the statements, maybe FIFA and UEFA will react. Say no, no, we don’t take a step forward unless we change something to the federations.”
Ahead of England’s Euro 2024 qualifier with Italy on Tuesday, Walker was asked about Guardiola’s comments about players taking on the onus of pushing for schedule reform. The defender was hesitant to concur with his club manager and says players have a specific duty.
