ITV viewers were given 'first sign it's Christmas' during the latest episode of Coronation Street. During the ad breaks of Wednesday night's episode of Corrie, fans were treated to a 'teaser' of Asda's new Christmas advert for 2023.
The supermarket released its 60-second taster advert today, which features singer Michael Bublé. The full advert will be shown in a couple of days time, from Saturday, November 4.
Fans took to social media to share their verdict on seeing their first official festive advert this year. "Michael Bublé in a ASDA advert klaxon! "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! #Corrie," wrote @ShakyWoon on X, formerly Twitter. While @HelenAPat added: "Michael Buble's officially launched Christmas #Corrie."

And @ADADAPPADAN commented: "It's crazy just how quickly the Christmas ads start on the telly as soon as Halloween's been 'n gone! This morning, less than half a day after it, it wa' already all snow, jingling bells, Christmas music/trees 'n toys galore! #Corrie."
The clip sees Asda colleagues relaxing in a break room mid-shift until they’re disturbed by an unusual ‘gurgling’ sound as the clock ticks to midnight. Journeying through a fantastical festive warehouse to find its source, they eventually reach a door marked ‘MB inside. Do not open ‘til 1.11.23’.
Bublé fans also shared their reaction to the short teaser on Instagram. Rachelle Guthrie commented: "He's defrosted ready for you!." With rebeccasankeywriting: "he’s defrosted, a little too early for my liking though."
