Emmerdale's Dingle family have only just got rid of Lydia Dingle's (played by Karen Blick) evil rapist Craig Reed, who was found lifeless on Home Farm. But now it seems Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) could be in danger after Tom King lashed out at her. In a flashback, Belle and Tom were seen enjoying a romantic meal before the vet proposed.
Belle turned down his offer of marriage, which led to a heated argument and violent reaction from Tom. He hit the young woman so hard, she fell and hit her head on the coffee table. Distraught, Tom rushed to help Belle, apologising profusely and cleaning up her wound.
She later forgave her boyfriend and explained to her family she turned down the proposal because it "wasn't the right time" but they remained a couple. However fans are concerned Belle will end up in a violent relationship with Tom. Wanting to theorise what could be in store for Belle, the Daily Star used Bard AI to predict the storyline.
The programme predicted: "It is possible that Belle and Tom could split after he hit her when she rejected his proposal. "Tom's behaviour was violent and unacceptable, and it is understandable if Belle feels that she cannot be in a relationship with someone who has hurt her. "She may also be worried about her safety, and she may not want to be in a relationship with someone who she feels could hurt her again." However, given Belle has previously forgiven Tom for his violent mistakes, the AI took thinks she may choose to try and move on if he shows remorse.
