Emmerdale's Bradley Johnson is set to become a dad for the first time, with fans, pals and co-stars showering him with well-wishes after he shared the joyful news on social media.
The actor, who plays Vinny Dingle on the ITV soap, took to Instagram to announce that he and his fiancée Sammie Johnston are delighted to be expecting their first child, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The couple revealed their upcoming new arrival with an image of a heart-shaped cake inscribed with "Baby coming December 2024," alongside scattered ultrasound images and polaroid photos capturing the delighted couple's reaction.
Bradley captioned the heartwarming post with "Mum and Dad" and a red heart emoji. Additionally, he uploaded a video filled with Polaroid snaps, including shots of the pair holding a tiny baby outfit and Sammie showcasing her growing bump.
Bradley's Emmerdale family was among the first to congratulate him, with Lisa Riley, who portrays his on-screen mother Mandy Dingle, expressing her excitement: "LOVE YOU BOTH SO SO SO SO MUCH. At long long last I can tell everyone-you are both going to be the absolute BEST!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! So excited!!!! I've said congratulations to you both over a hundred times."
Emmerdale actress Natalie Ann Jamieson, known for her role as Amy Wyatt, excitedly commented: "OMG baby bradders!!! Congrats you gorgeous pair, couldn't be happier for you x x x."
