Manchester City star Phil Foden has left the England Euro 2024 squad to return to the UK and be present for the birth of his third child with girlfriend Rebecca Cooke.
A statement from the Football Association on Wednesday said: "Phil Foden has temporarily left the England camp and returned to the UK for a pressing family matter.”
It has since been reported that the Premier League player of the season has temporarily departed the camp to witness the birth of his third child. Foden and Cook already have two children together and will welcome a third in the near future.

Five-year-old Ronnie has become an internet sensation on Instagram with his antics in the Man City dressing room with them having a younger little girl.
Foden's partner is Rebecca Cooke, who is believed to be the same age as the Man City academy graduate, having been born in 2000. Like Foden, she hails from Stockport, reports the Mirror.
Cooke, Foden's long-term girlfriend, has maintained a low profile, choosing not to make her social media accounts public. Similarly, Foden has kept images of her on his own social media accounts to a minimum.
The couple, who met during their school days, previously lived in a £2million mansion in the affluent Bramhall area of Manchester. They shared the home with Foden's parents, as the 24-year-old footballer values his close-knit family, until 2021 before he purchased a £3million mansion in Prestbury.
