Emmerdale fans are worried that Jai Sharma, played by Chris Bisson, could be the next victim of his father Amit's deadly actions. Amit has already shown he's capable of murder, having shockingly killed his brother Rishi Sharma, a character loved by many viewers, in an unexpected plot twist.
In the latest episode, viewers saw the story unfold as Amit interacted with other residents of the Dales. Amit had been trying to trick Eric Pollard into giving him money for a 'new business', and to pay off his debts to a woman named Dee.
But in the recent episode, Jai finally discovered his biological father's secret. He followed Amit to a meeting with Dee, where he realised that his father had given the earnings from the Hide to Dee in an attempt to prevent her from demanding the rest of the money he owed. Jai watched as his father handed over the cash, and was present at the Hide when Amit returned claiming he had been attacked by three thugs who had stolen the money.
Although they suggested he should report the incident to the police, Amit was reluctant - completely unaware that Jai knows the truth about where the money really went, reports the Mirror. Now that Jai is aware of Amit's true nature, fans are concerned that this could mean the end for Jai's character, especially as he sought out Eric Pollard to vow revenge on his scheming dad, and asked him to spill the beans on whatever dirt he had on the dodgy businessman.
Taking to social media to share their theories, fans didn't hold back as they revealed they feared that Jai could soon become Amit's latest victim.
One fan wrote: “I don’t like where this is heading. Amit would kill Jai in a heartbeat to save his own skin.” A second fan then added:“I hope Jai’s smarter than his dad
