Coronation Street star Millie Gibson gave a glimpse of the aftermath of celebrating her recent award win. The 17-year-old actress, who plays the ITV soap's Kelly Neelan, picked up a gong at the British Soap Awards on Saturday (June 11).
The actress has had a big year on the cobbles having been part of the shocking hate crime storyline, inspired by the tragic story of goth Sophie Lancaster who was killed in 2007, which saw Kelly finding herself charged with a murder she didn't commit before being cleared only to end up homeless.
More recently, the character found out about her dad's death days before her mum, Laura Neelan played by Kel Allen, also died after taking the wrap for husband Rick's murder.

Millie, from Broadbottom, said that her involvement in the hate crime storyline will stay in her heart as she also credited her castmates, including Corey Brent star Maximus Evans who picked up the award for villain of the year, as they watched on in the audience.
She also didn't forget to thank her family, before quickly shouting out her cousins as she ran out of time and had to leave the stage. And she looked incredible while doing so. Millie, who trained at Oldham Theatre Workshop, channelled Hollywood glamour on the red carpet in a silky white gown with a pop of colour from her red lipstick.
Sharing some snaps to Instagram of her stunning look before the awards as well as a one on the red carpet, Millie wrote: "a blur, but a pleasure feeling incredibly honoured. Thank you :) …" Kel, who played her
