Some of Coronation Street's biggest stars enjoyed some down time as they were photographed at a local bowling alley on Tuesday night. The cast of ITV's award-winning soap took a much-needed rest from the Cobbles to get a strike or two, posing for photos to document their trip.
A big group snap sees Alison King, who plays Carla Connor, Chris Gascoyne, who plays Peter Barlow, and Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, posing with bowling balls at the front of the group photo. Meanwhile Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne, Millie Gibson, who plays Kelly Neelan, Max Turner actor Paddy Bever, Jane Danson, who portrays Leanne Battersby and Craig Tinker star Colson Smith gathered amongst more stars from the soap for the same snap.
Shona Platt star Julia Goulding, who also featured in the group snap, shared the photo on her Instagram, gushing over the special night with her 126,000 followers.The 37-year-old actress wrote in the caption: "What a fun, beautiful night with this gorgeous lot! The little bowling ball and I had a great time," referring to her blossoming baby bump, which she first revealed at the 2022 British Soap Awards earlier this month. She also posted the image on her Instagram story and wrote: "Lovely night chucking balls around with this gorgeous lot!" Julia, who plays Shona Platt, also took the opportunity to gather her onscreen family members David Platt actor Jack and his on-screen adoptive son Max for a group photo - writing "little family pic from our bowling trip" on her Instagram story.
