Coronation Street viewers reckon they've sussed out the true identity of the Institute boss - and it's not as straightforward as it seems. Institute mentor Rowan Cunliffe first appeared on our screens earlier this year, conducting sessions at the Chariot Square hotel in the ITV soap.
He was initially introduced when Leanne Battersby accompanied Simon Barlow to one of his seminars, and she was immediately taken aback when the group mentor approached her with some unsolicited advice as she grappled with Simon's drink-driving and her partner Nick Tilsley's reaction.
However, since then, things have spiralled and Rowan has encouraged her to open up about her deepest thoughts and feelings. She has now become fully committed to Rowan - and the Institute - and has been seen paying over the odds for supplements, retreats and even prioritising her new friend and mentor over her family, particularly Nick and her sister Toyah Battersby.
