Manchester City will be aiming to maintain their 100 per cent record this weekend when they travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United. Guardiola's side have a perfect record so far after victories against Burnley, Newcastle, Sheffield United and Fulham have seen the Blues catapulted to the top of the table.
However, City will be facing an unbeaten West Ham side who, under David Moyes, have recorded three wins and a draw including an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea. City are unbeaten in five against the Hammers, with three wins and two draws, but this could well be Gaurdiola's toughest test of the season so far.
The Blues have also had a minor injury crisis brewing ahead of the game with John Stones and Jack Grealish missing from training on Thursday which suggests they are not quite ready to return from the muscle injuries that kept them out of the England internationals. Also missing from training was Mateo Kovacic who didn't play a minute for Croatia over the last fortnight with complaints of a back injury. With Kevin De Bruyne also sidelined, City's midfield options are looking stretched and so Guardiola could call on new signing Matheus Nunes.
