EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick has revealed that co-star Jazzy Phoenix had some apprehensions about starring on the show, amid worries that she’d “step on” Danielle Harold’s toes. Jamie, 29, who plays Jay Brown on the BBC One soap, has had a busy time on Albert Square this year after his character’s wife Lola Pearce, played by Danielle, tragically died following a brain tumour diagnosis.
