Ncuti Gatwa will take centre stage as Doctor Who on Christmas Day, joined by Millie Gibson, who will take on the role of the TIme Lord's glam new assistant.
The 19 year old will make her debut as Ruby Sunday, the companion to Ncuti's 15th Doctor, in the Christmas special, before joining him for a full series in the spring. Ahead of her brand new TV role, let’s take a look at the young actress’ life off-screen… She is currently loved up with boyfriend Tom Neatis, who she was spotted with in Salerno, Italy earlier this year.
Tom owns a music label and she had been leaving sweet comments on his social media posts, dating back to last November - suggesting they have been dating for just over a year now.
Prior to Tom, Millie was dating her childhood sweetheart Drew Cunningham, whom she is thought to have split from in 2021. When she's not filming, the actress can be found at home in Manchester where she lives with her family.
The home regularly features as a stunning backdrop to Millie’s Instagram pics, giving her followers a sneak peek inside the property.
In various pictures, fans will have seen Millie’s living room which features deep blue walls, an ornate black fireplace and a light grey armchair, ideal for cosy nights indoors. Elsewhere, the home also enjoys a sun-soaked conservatory which is the perfect Instagram background thanks to its exposed brick wall, wooden floors and green leafy plants.
The room also features a tan coloured leather sofa as well as a burgundy floral lamp.
MIllie made her TV debut on the CBBC series Jamie Johnson in 2017. During that same time, the TV star briefly appeared on the BBC One drama Love, Lies and Records.
