Woman sexually assaulted after man 'invites himself in for a cup of tea' - as police release image of man they want to speak to

Police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted inside a house in south Manchester.
The vile attack happened in the Withington area just before 3pm on Wednesday, March 30. The suspect first became involved with the occupants of the house as he tried to give falsely give them a parking fine, police said.
He threatened to call the police and have one of their cars towed away. He then invited himself inside for a cup of tea.

The man then went on to 'inappropriately touch' the victim. She was aged in her 20s, police said.
Officers have now released a picture of a man they want to talk to about the incident. Anyone who recognises him is being urged to get in touch.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 674 of 01/04/2022. Details can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
