Ian Evatt felt Bolton Wanderers ought to have had at least one penalty in the win over AFC Wimbledon but believes the officials have a hard job as he called for consistency in decision making.

In the first half, Wanderers could have been awarded a couple of penalty kicks but appeals did not come to fruition when Bodvarsson appeared to be tripped in the box by George Marsh, while Paul Osew appeared to handle the ball in the box before half-time.
Evatt believed the decisions not to award spot kicks were wrong, but he believes referee Rebecca Welch, the first woman to ever referee a Bolton match, had a difficult job and perhaps could have been given more help by the linesman and fourth official as he tipped her for a bright future in the game.
He said: “It’s a penalty and I think the guy has handballed it. I don’t know how many were here today but we all saw it. But it’s difficult for officials.
