Ian Evatt admits that every player has a price but has reiterated that Bolton Wanderers will not be selling any of their prized assets for less than they are worth.

The summer transfer window is a few months away from opening and there is still a fair chunk of football still to be played, but speculation has started to emerge about potential outgoings.
Championship side Fulham are reported to have looked at top scorer Dapo Afolayan, though he is under contract at Bolton until mid-2024, and though Evatt expects interest to be there for the club's talents due to the quality Wanderers possess, he admits that there is no need to sell players.
But if it does happen, then it will be on Bolton's terms and in the club's best interests and that only bids the League One side deem as acceptable will be entertained by Wanderers and they will only sell at the right place.
Evatt said: "I expect it (transfer speculation) because I think we’ve got some good players but I’ve said before this club is now in a position because of Sharon (Brittan) and the rest of the board that we don’t have to sell, so I hope they’ve got deep pockets.
“It’ll just be myself, Sharon and the board’s decision. Everything we do will be in the best interests of Bolton Wanderers. I’m not going to sit here and say players aren’t for sale, because we all know that’s (not) true, everybody has a price.
