If there's one thing we all love in our house it's a cooked breakfast.
In fact we don't even call it that. For us it's 'a big breakfast' and it's not just a morning thing, we've occasionally had it for tea. And why not?
So having heard about the deal at Beefeater, where two kids eat for free with just one adult breakfast, we couldn't get there quick enough.
Our nearest was the one at Salford Quays, where I'd previously eaten, but not for a good few years.

The same offer runs at other Whitbread pubs and restaurants, including Brewers Fayre, Table Table and Cookhouse + Pub.
At the Quay House, breakfast is upstairs and while guests at the neighbouring Premier Inn can book in as part of their stay, it's open to the public too.
Judging by how quiet it was, I'm not sure many people are aware of that. Although apparently it does get busy at times, especially when Manchester United have a home game at nearby Old Trafford.
The £9.99 fee covers an unlimited cooked breakfast. It's not a buffet style, the waitress comes to take your order, but you can basically ask for as much as you want from the items on the menu - kids can get as much as grown ups if they wish.
It includes bacon, sausages (and veggie alternatives of both), hash browns, black pudding, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, baked beans and eggs, which you can choose to be either scrambled, fried, poached or boiled. Decisions, decisions!
You can head over to the continental breakfast table to make your own toast. I made the schoolgirl error of leaving this until our breakfast arrived and we all know how long those conveyor toasters of doom can take.
