This weekend, Warehouse Project and Parklife boss Sacha Lord will foot the entire bill for customers at one Manchester business.
After the success of his city-wide happy hour at venues across Manchester last summer, Manchester’s night time economy advisor is putting his hands in his pockets again by paying for all food and drink at Thirsty Korean restaurant in Chorlton.
Lord teased the news on social media last night, telling his followers that he had selected an independent restaurant or bar to throw his support behind, and would be picking up the bill for all meals and drinks this Sunday. Confirming the news this morning, Lord encouraged people to "eat as much as you want, drink as much as you want, and try and rinse me", in order to support a independent business.

Located on Manchester Road, Chorlton’s Thirsty Korean serves up a range of authentic Korean food and drink in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Dishes range from Korean Fried Chicken and chapaguri noodles to kimchi rice and pancakes with chapaguri noodles, which can be washed back with a glass of Soju – Korean rice wine.
In the video he explained: "You might remember that last summer I decided to do a tour of Greater Manchester for all ten boroughs and it was announced in advance I'd turn up on a Sunday, choose one bar and for one hour I bought everybody free drinks and I had the time of my life and met so many amazing people. And because of that I've decided to do something again very similar."
