Residents have been left shaken after hearing a ‘huge bang’ as two cars crashed on a busy Glasgow street.
Pictures from the scene show debris from the wreckage scattered across the road, pavement and in nearby gardens at the junction of Niddrie Square and Queen’s Drive.
Multiple police vehicles, an ambulance and at least one fire engine raced to the collision at around 7pm on Saturday, October 7
It is not currently known whether anyone was injured. One local resident told how the block was cordoned off by mercy crews.

He said: “We were watching TV last night when we heard this massive bang. Our dog started going absolutely mental.
“When we looked outside, there were two cars that had crashed into each other. There were bits of car lying in our garden and all across the road.
“The police arrived pretty quickly and cordoned the area off. I also saw at least one ambulance and fire engine as well.
“There’s still bits of the cars lying all over the place this morning. It must’ve been quite a hard hit to do that much damage.”
