Holly Willoughby sends 'see you' message as fans flood This Morning with same demand after 'stopping by' comment

Holly Willoughby's has sent a little goodbye and thank you message to Ben Shephard after he spent a few days alongside her on This Morning. The Good Morning Britain star won praise from viewers of the ITV daytime show after he returned to front the show for the first time in six years.
He last hosted the show with Holly in 2017 and it comes as the 42-year-old hasn't had a permanent co-host since Phillip Schofield's sudden exit in May. Since then, Holly has been seen alongside Josie Gibson, Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary and Craig Doyle.
But on Monday, Ben joined Holly at the helm in a break from his duties on GMB and spent the following two days with her at the helm before re-joining Susanna Reid on the ITV news programme on Thursday (September 28).

Following their last This Morning together, Holly took to Instagram with a selfie of the pair sitting on the famous sofa. Both beaming for the camera, Holly wrote to her millions of followers: "Thank you @benshephardofficial..."
She then added: "See you in the morning @josiegibson85," as the former Big Brother winner returns to front the programme with Holly for her last show of the week on Thursday. Ben then reshared the post and said:" Not a bad start to the week @hollywilloughby. Thanks for all the lovely messages too."
