Holly Willoughby breaks silence after This Morning defeat at NTAs

ITV presenter Holly Willoughby appeared to put on a brave face at Tuesday night's glitzy National Television Awards alongside This Morning co-stars Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
The fears of ITV bosses came true as the popular morning show was reportedly met with a chorus of booing from the crowds at the event held in London's O2 arena. And things went from bad to worse when it was announced they had lost out on the Best Daytime award for the first time in 13 years.
They lost out to the BBC's The Repair Shop and host Jay Blades gave Holly a hug before taking to the stage to collect the award on behalf of his team, admitting that he was blown away as the "new kid on the block".
A speechless Jay paused on-stage after the programme was announced to have won the award by host Joel Dommett. He then pulled out his phone and took a snap of the 'rare' moment as he pictured the crowd.
He said: "I need to take a picture of this because this is a rarity standing on this stage and winning this.
"First things first, I want to thank everyone who voted and also thanks those who believed in the daytime show and wonderful production company. Thanks to all of those behind the cameras and salute to the experts - they are my family."
Jay added: "And to everyone at This Morning, The Chase and Loose Women... we are the new kids on the block and I am glad we have won this time; I know it won't be a regular thing but we won this time so thank you, thank you, thank you."
And Holly has now broken her silence on losing out on the award. The loss came at a bad time for the cast and crew of This Morning, following Phillip Schofields sensational exit from ITV after admitting to having an affair with a younger male colleague.
