Harry Maguire is training with former Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho to aid his fitness and impress Erik ten Hag.
The defender has been out of favour at Manchester United under the Dutchman and his future remains in the balance. Maguire is fourth-choice at United and could be sold if the right suitor comes along but is valued at £50m so that may prove challenging.
There has been speculation that he could lose the captaincy too, with Bruno Fernandes the most likely to succeed him. It's been a tough year for Maguire, who has been warned he'll lose his England place if he isn't playing more regularly.

Maguire is set to return to Carrington on Monday for pre-season training. United gave the players involved in June's international matches an extended break with the remainder of the group returning last week.
