Forecasters warn that flooding is 'possible' in parts Greater Manchester as heavy rain is set to batter the region.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain to come into force at midday on Monday (January 29) until 5am on Tuesday. The area covered by the warning includes parts of Bolton, Bury and Oldham.
It also covers much of Lancashire, Cumbria and parts of West Yorkshire. Forecasters predict that heavy downpours 'may lead to some flooding and impacts to travel'.

Disruption is expected to due to water on the roads and bus and train services may also be affected by the heavy rain. After a mostly dry and cloudy day today, heavy rain is forecast to fall in Greater Manchester from around 6am tomorrow morning.
Persistent showers are forecast for most of the day and evening before they ease off in the early hours of Tuesday. Average temperatures of around 7C are forecast on Monday, according to the Met Office.
After Monday, the rest of the next week is forecast to be mostly cloudy and dry in our region. Temperatures will start to rise as the week goes on, with the mercury reaching highs of around 12C by the weekend.
