BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice seemed to reveal his true feelings for partner Amanda Abbington before she left the show.
The pair have been in the news after Amanda, 49, pulled out of the last live show and then announced she was leaving for good. Breaking her silence after the news emerged, she said she had 'deep regret' about leaving due to 'personal reasons', and fans wondered if a rumoured argument with Giovanni, 33, was the cause.
It was reported the pair had a disagreement during rehearsals, with the Sherlock actress being upset with her partner's 'aggressive' technique. But any rumours of a 'feud' seem to be put to rest by some kind words from Giovanni caught on camera.
The couples have to wear microphones during their dances, which record their conversations - although this isn't broadcast live on Saturday night.
Instead, the footage is shared on the Strictly Instagram feed to give a glimpse into what's really happening on the dance floor. Giovanni was heard saying "beautiful" to Amanda as they danced the Foxtrot to the famous Fleetwood Mac song Everywhere, before pretending to kiss as part of the romantic routine.
Amanda and Giovanni ended up fourth on the Strictly leaderboard with a decent score of 31 for their final performance that week. However, it was later announced that Amanda wouldn't be participating in the fifth week of the competition due to "medical reasons".
After missing the weekend's live shows, it was confirmed Amanda would be leaving the show permanently.
