BBC Strictly Come Dancing stars share support for Amanda Abbington after sudden exit

Strictly Come Dancing stars have sent their best wishes to Amanda Abbington after she revealed why she left the competition.
It was announced on Monday evening's It Takes Two that the 49-year-old would be withdrawing from Strictly. She did not perform with dance partner Giovanni Pernice on Saturday night's show due to health reasons.
On Tuesday (October 24), the Sherlock actress posted a photo of her dancing shoes on Instagram, with an update as to why she quit. She said due to 'personal reasons' she was 'unable to continue' with the competition.

She thanked the Strictly production team and her fellow Strictly stars before adding she was 'so sad' that she was 'unable to go any further'. Fans and stars flooded the comments with support.
Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who is taking part in the BBC dance contest with professional partner Lauren Oakley, wrote: "Sending lots of love - we miss you xxx". Eddie Kai, who was eliminated from last weekend's show along with his dance partner Karen Hauer, commented three red heart emojis.
Zara McDermott, who is competing with Graziano Di Prima, said: "Going to miss you so much... my beautiful friend forever." Radio presenter Nikita Kanda, who was paired with Gorka Marquez and the second dancer of the series to be voted off, commented: "Love you so much," with a string of red heart emojis.
Meanwhile Gorka wrote: "We will miss you," with a red heart emoji.
