Tributes have been paid a well-known Manchester City fan who was found dead in a park after he had been reported missing.

A 'gentle and kind' man who died in a house in Wigan has now been named as detectives continue to investigate his suspected murder.
Andrew Brown, 45, was found dead at the property on Fern Close, in Shevington, after emergency services were called to a concern for the welfare of a man at around 9am on August 9.
Police and paramedics attended but Mr Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Initially, police said his death was 'unexplained' as forensics descended on the quiet cul-de-sac.

A few days later, on August 14, a 47-year-old woman was then arrested on suspicion of murder. She was later released on bail as detectives currently remain at the scene to investigate.
In a tribute, The Plough and Harrow pub, who is run by close friends of Andrew said he was a 'gentle and kind' man. They said: "As a community we are still reeling from the shock of his passing as he was a genuinely lovely guy. Gentle, kind, and quite a private man who had many friends who will miss him greatly.
A public post shared by the pub continued: "One of life's true gents, a guy that you will always miss, the most kind hearted, lovable man I (we) have ever had the pleasure to meet. Our hearts are breaking tonight with news we are struggling to comprehend.
"RIP Andrew Brown. To say we are devastated is an understatement. Our thoughts are with you and your family."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "On Wednesday 9 August 2023 at around 9am, officers were called to a concern for welfare of a man at a property on Fern Close in Shevington, Wigan. Emergency services attended the scene and a 45-year-old man was sadly found deceased at the scene.
