Four incredible new family attractions to take kids in Manchester this October half term

There's no shortage of fun to be had in Manchester, but some recent additions to the family attractions circuit have made things even more exciting.
Since July, four incredible new places have opened up that kids of all ages will love. And as they're all indoors, it won't even matter if we get the usual downpours that come with October half term.
While one of the attractions - the new Chaos Karts - is in Manchester city centre, next to the Science and Industry Museum, the others couldn't be closer to one another.

Nerf Action Xperience opened inside Trafford Palazzo earlier this month, joining the recently opened King Pins, which opened on the first floor of the venue before the summer holidays.
Then just last week, a new climbing and adventure centre Rock Up opened just across from The Trafford Centre at Chill Factore.

The UK's first live action video game karting experience, Chaos Karts combines real-life racing with augmented reality and makes it feel as if you're inside a game of Mario Kart.
Each player has their own kart and, just like Mario, you get to pick your own avatar and even the colour of your vehicle.
The players are real, the karts are real and the racing experience is real - you whizz around an actual track. It's the track that changes each time though, as it's projected onto the floor along with the rest of the landscape that surrounds you.
