Eddie Howe doesn't want to face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup but insists his Newcastle side can come away from Old Trafford victorious.
Newcastle booked their place in the fourth round with a hard-fought 1-0 win at home to Manchester City on Wednesday evening, Alexander Isak scoring the only goal of the game. After beating the favourites, Howe's side will fancy themselves to get all the way to Wembley, as they did last season.

It's as tough as it gets for the Magpies in two rounds but Howe insists his side will be confident they can record another big cup win.

"It’s the only way we improve ourselves. It’s not maybe the draw we wanted but we respect Manchester United and how they do things but we’ll have to face it.”
