This is the first photograph of Gumma, the American XL bully dog who mauled two pensioners, leaving one needing surgery.
The dog attacked the 73-year-old man and his 70-year-old wife at a house in the Dyce area of Aberdeen last week. The couple, who have not been named, were visiting the house of a relative who was on holiday to check on the animal when it got out of its cage and attacked them.
The man, who suffered serious injuries to his arms and face, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he has undergone an operation on his hand which was also damaged in the attack. His wife was also taken to hospital for treatment.

A police probe has now been launched into the horror attack which has promoted renewed calls for laws on the breed to be fast-tracked.
The dog, which is owned by Jack Watson, 23, was understood to have been due to be put down ahead of the weekend.
One of his family, who asked not to be named, said the dog had been carefully looked after before the attack.
