Fern Britton’s ex husband Phil Vickery, 61, has been seen kissing her best friend two years on from their messy separation. The TV duo announced in 2020 that they were ending their marriage after 20 years, but insisted that they’ll “always share a great friendship”. Ferne, 65, wrote on social media at the time: “After more than 20 happy years together, Phil and I have decided to go our separate ways.
“We will always share a great friendship and our lovely children . "We would appreciate it if our privacy is respected at this time.Thankyou for your continued kindness and support.” The pair share 21 year old daughter Winnie together, while Ferne is also mum to Jack, Grace and Harry from her previous marriage to Clive Jones. Two years on from their shock split, Phil appears to have moved on with Fern’s close pal Lorraine Stanton. In photographs taken of the new flames, Lorraine – who has known Fern for many years – carried a Fortnum & Masum bag as she leaned over a suitcase and an overnight bag for a kiss from Phil.
She wore a warm-looking white jacket paired with brown trousers, a brown bag and white trainers. Meanwhile, Phil cut a casual figure in a camouflage shirt and jeans as he held onto a shoulder bag.The pair looked undeniably smitten as they headed into a property in Mayfair, London. Discussing their budding romance, a source told The Sun: “They look like teenagers in love and that will be just so hurtful for Fern.
Behaving this way in public will feel like a betrayal." Phil’s new relationship comes after Fern admitted last year that she’d been going through a “tough time”. Speaking to BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood, she said: "It's been hard, but there is life again. We did have three cats.
