Fans have shared their joy at seeing Kate Garraway let loose as she thanked one of her co-stars for sharing her 'secret'. The Good Morning Britain presenter is now back at the helm of the ITV news programme but before she returned to screens, it appears she enjoyed some time away.
Kate has been fronting GMB regularly over the summer but was replaced at the end of last week by Charlotte Hawkins. And it appears she spent her time off wisely by heading for a UK getaway.
The TV and radio star headed to the Lake District where she appears to have enjoyed some ziplining if her social media post is anything to go by. Kate took to Instagram to share a video of herself in a harness and safety hat as she whizzed above a flowing late in the idyllic part of the north.

Alongside the post, which heard her shrieking as she made her way across the line before laughing as she landed back on solid ground, the mum-of-two wrote to her 1.1 million followers: "Thank you so much to @smoothradio @tinahobleyofficial for letting us into her secret treasure @lakes_byyoo."
She added: "Such a wonderful & rare few precious hours to enjoy some fun with the kids - and to forget it all," before adding 'bliss', 'magical' and 'making memories' as hashtags.
