Kate Garraway made an awkward mistake live on Good Morning Britain on Thursday which made Ben Shephard throw his head in his hands. The presenting duo were back at the helm of the ITV breakfast programme on Sept 7 to bring the latest news and entertainment headlines to viewers, after Ben had taken a break from the show over summer.

Speaking to viewers, Kate said: "Also in entertainment news returning to the tardis, Jemma Redgrave is on the show to tell us how she is reuniting with the brand new Time Lord as well as starring in her very own Doctor Who spin-off series."

Looking around the studio, Kate then said: "Have I got this all wrong? That's why I was so confused in the morning meeting. I thought 'how does she play an octopus?'.
