Emmerdale fans have branded the ITV soap's latest storyline twist as "obvious", as the latest episode revealed Chloe Harris' fate after being involved in a terrifying car crash.
Thursday's episode, 19 October, saw Chloe being slowly brought out of her induced coma, as an anxious Mackenzie and Amy Wyatt stood beside her and waited to see if she had suffered any brain damage. After looking around the room and calling for Mackenzie, Chloe admitted that she could "remember nothing", although many fans weren't convinced.
One fan took to X, formally known as Twitter, and said: "She remembers, she's just playing like she doesn't for future revenge #Emmerdale ", while another added: "I think Chloe ALREADY remembers that Mackenzie recused Charity instead of her and is waiting for the right moment #Emmerdale". Friday's episode revealed that Chloe was in fact pretending not to remember the horrific car crash, as she revealed her secret when she was alone in the hospital room with her baby boy Ruben.
Speaking to her baby, Chloe said: "We might have to get used to this again might we? Being just the two of us. What with daddy lying every time he opens his mouth, because mummy remembers doesn't she.
That daddy chose Charity and just left me to die." Many viewers saw the storyline twist coming from a mile away, as they branded the show as "obvious".
One fan said: "It was obvious Chloe was going to remember exactly what happened #emmerdale", while another added: "What a surprise! Not". A third stated: "#emmerdale script writing so bloody predictable", while another fan wrote: "yes I knew Chloe remembered everything!!".
In recent episodes, Chloe found out that Mack had cheated on her with his ex, Charity, leaving her heartbroken. Moments
