At the end of August in the ITV soap, Victor died suddenly of a brain aneurysm, just hours after he was accused of stealing a necklace from Charles' partner, Manpreet. The family were furious with wife Claudette ready to wash her hands of her estranged husband for good before Charles found him dead in the church.
But it was later revealed that Victor was telling the truth about his innocence as Charles confessed that he had stolen the necklace and planted it on his father in a bid to get him out of the village and out of their lives.
