Emmerdale fans have been left gobsmacked as they worked out the prices at The Woolpack - and they weren't impressed. Despite there being a gentle build-up to all the 'Super Soap Week' drama set to come next week involing several key characters, fans ended up distracted during recent pub scenes.
Viewers of the ITV soap watched as Moira Dingle and Nate Robinson headed to the local for a drink to discuss a number of things relating to the Dingle family, particularly the return of Cain Dingle and Caleb Milligan from their mystery road trip. As they chatted they asked Gail Loman for two pints.
After getting her dirnk, Moira went to walk away to find a table, leaving Nate to pay, and Gail informed him that the order amounted to £15.20. Moira was still in earshot and appeared surprised by the price while Nate unwillingly tapped his card to pay for the drinks.

But it appears Moira's apparent disgust was shared by Emmerdale viewers who flocked to comment on social media about the price for a pint in the fictional Yorkshire village.
One shared on X, formerly known as Twitter: "You wouldn’t even pay £7.60 per Pint in London!! #Emmerdale." Another commented: "£15.20 for 2 drinks? London prices have reached #Emmerdale." A third raged: "You kidding? £15.20 for 2 PINTS?!! #TheWoolpack is a Rip Off!"
A fourth posted: "I though my local was expensive but I’d pour it back in barrel if they said £15.20. It’s not that much in London." [sic] While another shared: "£15.20 for 2 pints in emmerdale! I hate paying more than £3.50 for a pint!"
