Eminem’s surprise album release may bear the Hitchcock-referencing title “Music to Be Murdered By,” but, yes, as you’d expect, “Music to Murder To” might be a more apt description.

Slim Shady had a lot to get off his chest with his Kamikaze follow-up, which is made up of 20 tracks and includes a myriad of guests like his former Slaughterhouse running mates, sans Joe Budden, the late Juice WRLD, Don Toliver, Young M.A., Ed Sheeran, and more.

Eminem’s new “Music to Be Murdered By” album has an album title and cover that pay homage to Alfred Hitchcock, suggesting a collection full of light-hearted mayhem. But a couple of its tracks reference real-life mass murders that occurred at concerts in recent years — the Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest Music Festival shootings and the Manchester bombing.

Eminem had an entire album up his sleeves and no one saw it coming. The American rapper surprised his fans by releasing his latest album titled Music to be Murdered By on Thursday i.e January 16. “It's your funeral..." the rapper tweeted. In addition to this, he also released the video for his first single off the album, Darkness. Eminem revealed that the album cover was inspired by legendary director Alfred Hitchcock.
