Eminem surprises fans with a new album

New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates. Last night, Drake and Future released a new song titled “Desires” to the official OVO SoundCloud. The track doesn’t appear on any other streaming platforms, but both rappers shared it on their social media. The collaboration follows their recent hit, “Life is Good,” which currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Eminem’s new album Music To Be Murdered By caught many fans by surprise with how dark and violent his rhymes are. He even referenced the deadly 2017 bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England in the song “Unaccomodating”, featuring Young M.A. He raps, “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.” Now Slim Shady has put out a message to fans that this album is meant to “shock the conscience.”

Since Mac Miller’s posthumous album, “Circles,” came out Friday, many fans have been convinced they heard Ariana Grande’s voice on the track “I Can See.” The late rapper’s reps responded to queries with a “no comment.” Now, his ex-girlfriend’s vocal cameo has been confirmed — or equivocally confirmed, at least — by the record’s producer, Jon Brion.

Eminem just unleashed his latest album, Music to Be Murdered By, where he aims his pen at everyone from Nick Cannon to Machine Gun Kelly to Joe Budden. As it turns out, there’s a conceptual framework for his lyrical bloodlust, as the LP draws from Hollywood’s “Master of Suspense,” Alfred Hitchcock.

Eminem took everyone by surprise and dropped his Alfred Hitchcock-inspired Music To Be Murdered By album out of the sky on Friday (Jan. 17). Slim Shady had a lot to get off his chest with his Kamikaze follow-up, which is made up of 20 tracks and includes a myriad of guests like his former Slaughterhouse running mates, sans Joe Budden, the late Juice WRLD, Don Toliver, Young M.A., Ed Sheeran, and more. 

While Eminem’s surprise new album, Music to Be Murdered By, doesn’t come packed with quite as many aggressive diss lines as 2018’s Kamikaze, there’s still plenty of stray shots directed at his competition. Over the course of 20 tracks, Em takes aim at perennial rivals like Machine Gun Kelly, Nick Cannon, Lord Jamar, and Joe Budden. He also saves some bars for fellow Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley as well as Odd Future cohorts Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator.

But a couple of its tracks reference real-life mass murders that occurred at concerts in recent years — the Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest Music Festival shootings and the Manchester bombing.

Eminem had an entire album up his sleeves and no one saw it coming. The American rapper surprised his fans by releasing his latest album titled Music to be Murdered By on Thursday i.e January 16. “It's your funeral..." the rapper tweeted. In addition to this, he also released the video for his first single off the album, Darkness. Eminem revealed that the album cover was inspired by legendary director Alfred Hitchcock.
