Shona McGarty has shared that she's "happier than ever" ahead of her exit from EastEnders.The Walford icon who has played Whitney Dean for the last 15 years, recently announced that she would be leaving the show, with rumours suggesting that she may be joining ITV's Dancing On Ice. Along with a change of job, the actress appears to have also embarked on a new relationship with a mystery man, following her split from fellow EastEnders star Max Bowden a few months ago.
Shona has been keeping her relationship largely off of social media, and has not shared any snaps of her mystery man, however, she did pay a sweet tribute to her new boyfriend. Sharing a black and white photo of a fence, Shona added the text: "Meeting you was like listening to a song for the first time and knowing it would be my favourite." She then penned the caption: "Happier than ever… [heart emoji]" Commenting on the sweet pic, Shona's co-star James Farrar wrote: "[three heart emojis] I fancy him so bad." Fans also commented on the photo, with one writing: "Wishing you all the best…live your life to the fullest and breathe it all in…we are here for such a short time…absorb, cherish and love with all your heart."
