Lorraine Stanley looked worlds apart from her on-screen EastEnders character as she dressed to impress for the 2022 Inside Soap Awards. Lorraine’s character Karen Taylor is known for taking much less pride in her appearance, as she’s often seen with her hair tied up on a scruffy bun on top of her head and with little to no makeup. Lorraine pulled out all the stops for the awards however, and wore her gorgeous blonde tresses down and straight.The soap star sported a V-neck midi dress with bold purple, green, yellow and black prints, with the sleeves having delicate bejewelled detailing.

Following the return of an in-person Inside Soap Awards, after the previous two were hosted virtually, the attendees carried on partying the night away as they attended the ceremony's glamorous after-party.The ceremony made for a rather huge night for the cast and crew of EastEnders, with the show scooping the Best Soap Award.

EastEnders star Bobby Brazier looked in good spirits as he attended the National Television Awards on Thursday 13 October with his fellow BBC One co-stars. 19 year old Bobby, who made his debut as Freddie Slater on the popular soap last month, appears to have well and truly settled into his new job after he was captured laughing and joking with EastEnders actress Danielle Harold as they made their way home from the star-studded ceremony. As the pair walked outside London’s Wembley Arena, Bobby and 30 year old Danielle were all smiles and put on a happy display as they were met by waiting fans and photographers.

EastEnders' Clair Norris took to the red carpet at last night's National Television Awards and looked stunning in a soft pink gown, covered with dramatic ruffles and teamed with elegant white, strappy sandals. Clair, 24, who plays Bernadette Taylor in the soap, looked far away from her day job in Albert Square where she's usually dressed in baggy clothes, a purple padded jacket and has her brunette hair scraped up in a bun.The soap star was photographed beaming on her way into the ceremony to join her EastEnders cast mates who were nominated for Best Serial Drama but lost out to Emmerdale.

Former EastEnders' star Danniella Westbrook has landed her first acting gig in six years after her EastEnders role was recast.The actress is headed to the West End to play the Fairy Godmother in adult pantomime, Sinderfella which has been dubbed a “delightful and risqué version" of Disney's Cinderella. Danniella, 48, will play the role alongside Big Brother's Simon Gross who is cast as one of the Ugly Sisters and a show insider said the former soap star "couldn't wait to get back to her acting roots".The source told The Sun: "She is nervous as she hasn't acted since she returned to EastEnders back in 2016, but her passion has always been acting so she is super excited for this next chapter of her career." Daniella played Sam Mitchell in EastEnders during the 1990s and she recently hit out at the BBC for recasting a different actress as her former character.

Melissa Suffield’s two year old son River was rushed to hospital for a third time yesterday after the youngster contracted a virus.Taking to Instagram to update fans on her son, Melissa shared a snap of River sitting on a hospital bed merrily eating a biscuit.The former EastEnders star wrote alongside the snap: “We ended up in an ambulance again after a 2am 111 call. Back to A&E AGAIN.That’s 3 visits in the last 16 days.” Melissa, 29, went on: “Given 3 loads of nebuliser (he was not a fan) and some meds and he perked right up.

EastEnders star Max Bowden has announced the birth of his son, Reginald Buckle, who was born on  19th September. Max, 27, and Roisin, 37, began dating in October last year and announced they were expecting their first child together in April, before their relationship broke down during the pregnancy. Now both Max and Roisin have announced the birthday of their son on Instagram, each posting a black-and-white photo photo of the tot's feet and another of themselves lovingly cradling their newborn.

Max George has shared a naked video of himself cuddled up with girlfriend Maisie Smith after his ex warned the actress about The Wanted star. The couple first went Instagram official with their relationship earlier this month, after Eastenders star Maisie, 21 and her singer beau Max, 34 confirmed their relationship after weeks of speculation.
