Strictly Come Dancing's James Bye has explained how his spray tan for the BBC series will be written into EastEnders. The Martin Fowler actor, 38, is currently competing on the hit dance show with pro partner Amy Dowden. And at the same time as performing on Strictly, James is still just as busy at EastEnders as he continues to film the BBC One soap while rehearsing.

Explaining how bosses will introduce Martin's new look, the actor told the Express : "I've just put a line in that I've been down to the beach for the weekend. I can't not have a spray tan, you're on Strictly , you've got to have a spray tan whether you like it or not!" James also revealed that EastEnders has been trying to reduce his filming schedule while competing on Strictly, he added: "I have been getting two hours of training in the morning and sometimes another two in the evening.
"I have a quick chat with Victoria and go to bed. As soon as my body hits the pillow I am out. Hopefully next week or the week after it will lighten." It comes as Strictly Come Dancing fans went wild on Saturday night as they spotted Lacey Turner in the audience.
