Having finally plucked up the courage to leave Albert Square, Suki finally appeared to be able to take the crucial step towards her happiness, only for Nish to discover the affair after catching Eve and Suki kissing on CCTV.

Tuesday's EastEnders had a rather dramatic end when Nish Panesar finally discovered his wife's infidelity while watching the CCTV cameras installed in their shop. Longtime viewers of the soap will know that Nish's wife Suki has had an on-again-off-again romance with Eve Unwin, which the pair had recently rekindled, planning to flee Walford together.
