EastEnders viewers said they were left ‘shaking’ after the latest episode which saw a terrifying scene where Eve was running for her life through the woods as Navi was chasing her. During the episode, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve (Heather Peace) were planning on running away together, but Eve was stopped in her tracks by Nish who wanted to get rid of her for good. Nish then asked Ravi to take Eve into the woods and kill and bury her.
After driving into the woods and digging a hole with a shovel, the rest didn’t go to plan for Ravi as Eve managed to break free, leaving her running for her life through the woods in the dark. During the intense scenes, viewers took to X, formally known as Twitter, and pointed out how ‘scary’ they found the episode, with one person even comparing the scenes to The Hunger Games. One viewer wrote: “ EastEnders tonight is scaring me so much rn!”, while another added: “I’m shaking like a leaf!! I can’t cope with this #EastEnders”.
A third quipped: “Feels like im watching the hunger games all over again #Eastenders”, while another said: “I CAN’T BREATHE. #Eastenders”. Although Ravi did end up catching up with Eve, he couldn’t go through with what Nish asked and instead told her to leave and never return or contact anybody.
Fans are now left wondering if Heather Peace has left the soap. Although she hasn’t confirmed or denied this, she did take to Instagram to post about "Sukeve reveal day" on Tuesday and said: "#Sukeve reveal day.
The secret is out! Nish knows! I love this story and the time and care that’s been taken by all the team @bbceastenders. "Suki’s story has resonated with so many from what I’ve seen.
The representation has meant a lot too through Eve presenting the way she does.
