EastEnders fans are predicting that Stacey Slater and Jack Branning will have an affair as Jack's wife, Denise Fox, leaves the Square. Stacey was previously married to Jack's late nephew Bradley Branning, but before his death she cheated on him with Bradley's dad, Max Branning, who is Jack's brother.
However, fans of the show are now suggesting that Stacey is about to be at the centre of another Branning love triangle, this time with Jack after he told Denise that she should go on holiday for a bit. Stacey and Jack have become close in recent months after it was revealed that Stacey's daughter, Lily Slater and Jack's son, Ricky Branning, were having a baby together.
Despite Jack's reservations at first, he has since accepted the situation and has supported Ricky, Lily and Stacey as they adjust to life with a newborn baby. In more recent episodes, Stacey has turned to Jack, who works in the police, as she found out that her stalker is teacher Theo Hawthorne.
Theo has become obsessed with Stacey, leaving her terrified, and Jack has been helping her get a stalking protection order.
As fans have watched the pair grow closer, they are now concerned that they will grow feelings for each other, and will start having an affair behind Denise's back.
