Fans of Disney+ are set to be hit with a massive price increase, starting from November 1. The streaming giant is set to increase its prices from £7.99 to £10.99, forcing subscribers to shell out an extra a £36 a year, and now people are being warned to act now to opt out of the price hikes.
The streaming service gives film and TV buffs around the world access to thousands of films and shows, including hours of Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic content. Viewers can catch up with the latest goings on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the brand-new second season of Loki, or journey to a galaxy far, far away with the all-new Star Wars series, Ahsoka.
But from November, access to all this great content could see pay-monthly customers paying an extra £36 a year for the same benefits. That is because existing members will be automatically upgraded to the platform’s new Premium plan unless they change their subscription.

To beat the price hike, users of the streaming service can lock-in the current Disney+ prices when they sign-up for an annual plan. Costing £79.90 up front, the 12-mjonth plan works out £15.98 cheaper than paying on a monthly rolling basis. Once the rises kick in you'll save £3 a month, or £36 across the full plan, as you're not having to fork out the newer £10.99 price.
