Dalot, though, is confident that supporters inside Old Trafford will spur the players on to ensure there is no upset on a special evening. “It [atmosphere] will give us a lot of strength, I'm sure,” he told club media.
“I think that these fans are known for that, as giving us the power sometimes when things are not going so well, to put us back on track and get us standing again and facing the challenge that we have during the game.
“And I think it will be a great atmosphere for us to play with, on a fantastic European evening. I think that's what the fans love as well and hopefully we can all together, all combined, we can win the game.”
A win would see United record three victories across all competitions for the first time this season. Dalot says three points would help build up confidence ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby.
