David Moyes has confirmed Manchester United have accepted a bid from West Ham United for Harry Maguire.
MEN Sport reported earlier this week the Hammers had submitted an improved offer of around £30million for Maguire and United had accepted the offer in principle. However, a deal has yet to be concluded.
United want to sign a replacement if they sell Maguire with Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba admired by the club. United initially valued Maguire at £50m but have accepted a compromise given their need to offload fringe members of the squad.
On the latest with Maguire, Moyes said: "We've had a bid accepted from Manchester United, but while he's not our player I'm not in a position to discuss him."

Erik ten Hag confirmed Maguire would be available for United's match against Wolves on Monday. He is not expected to start the game having dropped to fifth-choice in United's centre-back pecking order.
Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are all ahead of the former United captain in the centre-back pecking order, while even left-back Luke Shaw now appears to be preferred in the centre of defence to Maguire.
Jonny Evans is not deemed suitable cover for Maguire and could leave the club when his short-term deal expires. Other clubs have registered an interest in the 35-year-old defender.
