Coronation Street actor Jack James Ryan revealed his secret battle with cancer as he praised his co-star Victoria Ekanoye.The 24 year old soap star has made a full recovery since being diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2017. And Jack, who has taken on some huge storylines as Jacob May in the popular ITV series since landing the coveted role last year, opened up about his cancer diagnosis as supported Victoria, who has breast cancer. When Victoria congratulated him on social media about his second stint on the soap, he replied saying: "Thanks so much Victoria, I think you're class." Jack continued: "Been so inspired by you opening up about your cancer journey and I'm sending you all the love and positive vibes.
"Had my own run in with it a few years back. You've got this. Big love! x" Victoria was quick to reply, writing: "Thanks JJ" with a red heart emoji.The actress continued: "I won't lie, it's one hell of a slog, but my family and friends, all the messages of support… feels like I have my own little army.
"I had no idea you battled the big C…what a warrior. And now you're smashing it on our beloved @itvcorrie. Much love and respect x." This comes after Victoria opened up about spending periods away from her partner Jonny Lomas as she continues with her breast cancer treatment.
