Coronation Street star Jack James Ryan has shown his support to one of the soap's former stars as she battles cancer.
The actor, who has recently returned to the soap as Jacob Hay, was being flooded with support from fans following his latest scenes on the ITV soap.
One of the messages from @ConversationStr read: "To whoever it was at @itvcorrie who decided to give @JackJamesRyan_ a second stint on the show, a thousand thank yous - keep hold of this one!
"And whoever decided to pair him up with Amy.. Genius move!"

Victoria Ekanoye, who played Angie Appleton in Corrie, replied to the tweet and said: "Hear hear."
The message caught Jack's eye and he was quick to share his thanks as well as applaud Victoria for being open about her cancer journey.
It is then he revealed he had his own 'run in' with the disease.
He said: "Thanks so much Victoria, I think you’re class.
"Been so inspired by you opening up about your cancer journey and I’m sending you all the love and positive vibes. Had my own run in with it a few years back.
"You’ve got this. Big love!"
Victoria shared the news in November that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She was diagnosed several months after giving birth to her first child Théodore with partner Jonny Lomas.
Victoria, who has sickle cell disease, told OK Magazine that she found a lump in her left breast in July 2021 while breastfeeding Théo.
The Bury actress was diagnosed on October 13 with ductal carcinoma in situ - when cancer cells have developed within the milk ducts in the breast.
She is set to undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction at the same time.
