Coronation Street star Cait Fitton appears to have hinted at a permanent exit from the cobbles as her character's missing storyline continues with Roy Cropper currently in the frame for her suspected murder.
The actress first appeared in Weatherfield back in 2022 as Lauren Bolton, Max Turner's love interest as he was groomed by her dad's gang, led by racist eco-warrior Griff Reynolds. But after her dad's imprisonment, Lauren returned to the street last summer and was trying to make a life for herself.
That being said, Lauren now hasn't been seen on the cobbles in weeks as she seemingly abruptly left the street after mentioning leaving to Roy when he sacked her from the cafe. It has meant he was the last person to see her with a missing persons case since becoming a murder probe.

Last week, a 'missing' poster was shared by Corrie giving a bit more details about Lauren with a description and information on when she was last seen in Weatherfield.
Cait later shared the image of the poster and simply wrote alongside it on Instagram: "Last seen 23rd February‼️‼️ @coronationstreet" and fans were quick to respond hoping for her return to the show as Lauren.
Now though, Cait has hinted that she's still not yet back filming on the cobbles as she shared a sweet message to co-star Julia Goulding on her birthday. The soap star took to her Instagram Story with a snap of the pair, showing them beaming in their Corrie branded coats in the Roys Rolls set.
Alongside the post, Cait wrote: "Happy birthday to this beautiful lady." She then added: "I miss and love you dearly." Julia,
